Avi Buffalo é uma banda de indie-pop com sede em Long Beach, Califórnia. Sua álbum de estréia foi lançado no dia 27 de abril de 2010. As críticas do álbum lhe valeu uma pontuação de 82 em 100 no Metacritic, classificando-o como tendo recebido "aclamação universal". O primeiro single do álbum é "What's In It For", e tem sido descrito como Shins-esque . A banda tocou na SXSW do mesmo ano e estava programado para abrir o Modest Mouse em julho.
