This is an easier version (3) of Dance Little Liar by Arctic Monkeys.
I got addicted to this song when I first heard it and tried to find chords here
that were at my skill level, but what I found was to hard for me to play...
So instead of giving up, I spent about an hour or 2 developing this using chords that
most guitar players including myself already know, that also sounded right with the song. So here it is:
Am C
I heard the truth was built to bend
Am C Am
A mechanism to suspend the guilt
C Am
Is what you are requiring still
C
You've got, to dance little liar
Am C
Just like those fibs to pop and fizz
Am C
And you'll be forced to take that awful quiz
Am
And you're bound to trip
C Am
And she'll detect the fiction on
C
Your lips and dig a contradiction up
Am C Am
And the clean coming will hurt
E C
And you can never get it spotless
E G
When there's dirt beneath the dirt
Am
The liar takes a lot less time
Am C
I'm sure its clear and plain to me
Am C Am
Its not an alibi you need just yet
C Am
Oh no its something for those beads of sweat
C
Yes that will get you back to normal
Am C Am
And after you have dabbed the patch you’ll grieve
C Am
And then proceed to scratch the varnish off
C
That newly added calmness
Am C
So as not to raise any alarms too soon
Am C Am
And the clean coming will hurt
E C
And you can never get it spotless
E G
When there's dirt beneath the dirt
Am
The liar takes a lot less time
( faster strumming here)
C Am
Time to decide on his saunter
C
Have you got itchy bones?
Am
And in all your time alone
C Am
Can you hack your mind being riddled
E G
with the wrong memories?
[strum]
Am|Am|Am|Am|C|C|C|C|E|E|E|E|G (G quicker x5)
Am C Am
And the clean coming will hurt
E C
And you can never get it spotless
E Am
When there's dirt beneath the dirt
