Biografia:
Villagers é uma banda Irlandesa de Malahide, na capital Dublin, liderada por Conor J. O'Brien.
Seu reconhecimento repentino veio da participação de uma série de festivais de música.
Já entraram em tour com Tracy Chapman, Bell X1 e Tindersticks.
Seu primeiro EP foi o Hollow Kind, lançado em 2009. Logo depois, saiu seu primeiro álbum, Becoming a Jackal, que foi lançado na Irlanda e no resto da Europa em Maio de 2010, e nos EUA e no Canadá em Junho de 2010. É dele que sai o hit homônimo ao álbum. O selo dele é da Mercury Prize.
