thenewno2 é uma banda formada em Londres por Dhani Harrison, filho do ex-guitarrista dos Beatles George Harrison, e por Oliver Hecks. Harrison toca guitarra, sintetizador e canta os vocais, enquanto Hecks toca bateria e sintetizador. Amanda Butterworth também contribui nos vocais. O nome da banda é uma referência ao programa da década de 60 "The Prisoner", da televisão britânica.
