Banda de folk-rock de Concord, North Carolina. A banda é formada por dois irmãos, Scott Avett (Banjo, Vocais) e Seth Avett (Violão, Vocais) além de Bob Crowford no baixo acústico. A banda também conta com a participação de Joe Know no Cello. Lançados inicialmente pela pequena gravadora Ramseur Records, o Avett Brothers assinou recentemente com a American/Columbia Records e teve seu mais recente trabalho de estúdio "I and Love and You" produzido pelo lendário Rick Rubin.
