Biografia:
Steve Miller (nascido em 5 de outubro de 1943 em Milwaukee, Wisconsin) é um músico e guitarrista de blues e rock. Ele estudou na Universidade de Wisconsin-Madison durante os anos 60, onde formou sua primeira banda, The Ardells. Miller ensinou Boz Scaggs alguns acordes, e Scaggs juntou-se ao Ardells no ano seguinte. Outro ano se passaria até que Ben Sidran fosse adicionado como tecladista do grupo.
Em 1968, Miller formou a Steve Miller Band com Scaggs nos vocais
