Biografia:
Within Temptation é um banda de metal sinfônico dos Países Baixos, formada em 1996 pelo guitarrista Robert Westerholt e sua esposa Sharon den Adel.
Possui seis discos de estúdio: "Enter" (1997), "Mother Earth" (2000), "The Silent Force" (2004), disco que fez a banda ganhar notoriedade na mídia internacional, "The Heart of Everything" (2007), "The Unforgiving" (2011) e o mais recente ''Hydra'' (2014).
No começo de 1996 a banda era formada por Robert Westerholt (guitarra) e Sharon den Adel (vocais)
