Wilson Pickett (18 de março de 1941– 19 de janeiro de 2006) era um cantor de soul music, que ficou conhecido pelos sucessos "Mustang Sally" e "In the Midnight Hour".
Nascido em 18 de março de 1941 em Prattville, Alabama, Pickett cresceu em uma casa pobre ao lado de dez irmãos e irmãs, uma mãe violenta e um avô pastor que batia nele toda vez que o escutava cantando músicas pagãs.
