Biografia:
Walter Trout (nascido em 6 de Março de 1951, Ocean City, Nova Jersey, Estados Unidos) é um cantor, compositor e guitarrista americano de blues.
A carreira de Trout começou no final dos anos 60 tocando em bares de Nova Jersey.
Resolveu se mudar para Los Angeles onde tocou com Percy Mayfield e Deacon Jones. Também trabalhou nas bandas de John Lee Hooker e Joe Tex.
Em 1981 tornou-se guitarrista do Canned Heat.
Recebeu um convite para tocar com John Mayall's Bluesbreakers onde dividiu o palco com Coco Montoya.
