Biografia:
Tia Carrere, nome artístico de Althea Rae Duhinio Janairo, (Honolulu, Havaí, 2 de janeiro de 1967) é uma atriz, modelo, dubladora e cantora americana.
Descendente de filipinos, chineses e espanhóis, com dezessete anos, foi contratada por uma produtora local ao fazer compras em uma loja de Waikiki. Atuou pela 1ª vez num filme B, chamado Zombie Nightmare. Então foi para Los Angeles e, após alguns meses trabalhando como modelo, conseguiu um papel na soap opera General Hospital, onde atuou de 1985 a 1987.
