Biografia:
The xx é uma banda de rock alternativo e indie pop britânica, formada em Londres, Inglaterra, em 2005. É composta por Romy Madley Croft (vocais e guitarra), Oliver Sim (vocais e baixo), Jamie Smith (beats, produção, percussão). Os membros originais reuniram-se na Elliott School, escola do sul de Londres notável por seus ex-alunos, incluindo músicos como Burial, Four Tet e os integrantes da Hot Chip.
Em 2009, apareceram no 6º lugar da lista The Future 50 List
