SONG: 'It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken' BAND: The Tragically Hip ALBUM: In Violet Light (2002) TABBED BY: Ross Guertin ([email protected]) TUNING: EADGBe
G#mE When the colour of the night G#mE And all the smoke for one life C#m, F# Gives way to shaky movements, C#m Improvisational skills, E A forest of whispering speakers G#m Let's swear that we will E Get with the times, G#m In a current health to stay E Let's get friendship right C#m Get life day-to-day E In the forget-yer-skates dream B Full of countervailing woes F# In diverse-as-ever scenes E Proceeding on a need-to-know F#5E In a face so full of meaning F#5E As to almost make it glow E O' for a good life, F#5E We just might have to weaken
B And find somewhere to go E Go somewhere we're needed B Find somewhere to grow E Grow somewhere we're needed
