Biografia:
The Motels foi uma banda New Wave formada em Los Angeles, muito conhecida por grandes hits como “Take The L”, “Shame”, e principalmente “Only The Lonely” e “Suddenly Last Summer”, canções essas que alcançaram a posição de nº 9 na parada da Billboard, em 1982 e 1983, respectivamente. “Total Control” alcançou o nº 4 na parada australiana em 1980, e em 1985 foi regravada por Tina Turner e incluída no álbum beneficente “We Are The World”.
