The Ladybug Transistor es un grupo de indie pop de Brooklyn, Estados Unidos, asociado al colectivo Elephant 6.
El grupo comenzó en 1995 con Gary Olson, Edward Powers y Javier Villegas con un álbum llamado "Marlborough farms".
Se han sucedido varios cambios en la formación. Su último álbum es Can't Wait Another Day.
