The Cure é uma lendária e altamente influente banda inglesa de Pós Punk, formada em Sussex, Inglaterra em 1976. A banda já passou por muitas mudanças bruscas, com o guitarrista, vocalista e principal letrista Robert Smith — conhecido pelo ícone que é seu cabelo desarrumado, pele pálida, batom borrado e as frequentes introspectivas e sombrias letras — sendo o único membro constante.
