Biografia:
The Broken Circle Breakdown is the film by Felix van Groeningen. The film is based on the theatre play with the same name by Johan Heldenbergh and Mieke Dobbels, with which they filled all manner of church halls, public houses and cultural centres.
The Broken Circle Breakdown is van Groeningen’s fourth full-length film after Steve+Sky (2004), With Friends Like These (2007) and The Misfortunates (2009). This latest film also gave Felix international recognition after it was selected in Cannes (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, 2009).
