This is pretty much as accurate as I could make it based on playing along with the song itself. The lyrics
come from the composer himself, so there's no inaccuracies there and the song is the complete version. A lot
of the strumming is best picked up from listening to the song, and the outro is taken from "Before and After
You", so the timing is different than the rest of the song. I put Robert and Francesca's parts as "Part 1"
and "Part 2" in case someone tries to pick this up or perform it without context from the musical and gets
really confused.

Part 1: For the first time in my life,
I am not outside the moment
With a camera in between me and the world
I think I know.
For the first time in my life,
I am somehow part of something.
You surround me, you connect me,
And I think I can't let go.
For the first time in my life,
You have opened up a channel
There is nothing to contain us,
We are joined, and we are free.
For the first time in my life,
I am risking something precious.
I am asking you, Francesca:
A
Come with me.
G – A – G –
A G
I can't tell you I know what the future will be.
D
Who knows anything?
A G
I just look at those eyes; you've got so much to see.
D
Let me know you. There's
A
Crowds and camels and hillsides to climb.
B
All I know is, in all of the time
D
From man's first breath
D
To God's last warning,
A D
You and I are just one second,

You were born with a wanderer's soul.

This is how you begin to be whole.
D
The stars keep burning,

Worlds keep turning
