Spoon é uma banda indie americana originária de Austin, Texas. A banda é composta pelo vocalista Britt Daniel (vocal, guitarra); Jim Eno (bateria); Rob Pope (baixo) and Eric Harvey (teclado, guitarra, percurssão e backing vocal).
A banda foi formada em 1994 pelo vocalista Britt Daniel e pelo baterista Jim Eno numa festa na Kimbolton Avenue. O nome da banda foi escolhido para homenagear uma banda que tinha uma música com o nome "Spoon" e que também era o tema de um filme.
