Small Faces foi uma banda essencial para o rock inglês, mas sua curta duração impediu que os integrantes desenvolvessem melhor as idéias propostas entre 65 e 68. A história da banda é contada em qualquer dicionário do rock, mas vale a pena lembrar que tudo começou com Steve Marriott (guitarra) e Ronnie Lane (vocais).
O começo difícil foi compensado pela aceitação que a banda teve junto ao público "mod" (uma das tendências do rock londrino pré-psicodelia).
