Biografia:
Robert Palmer, nascido Alan Palmer em 19 de janeiro de 1949, em Batley, Inglaterra, passou sua infancia na ilha de Malta, retornando ao 19 anos. Começou a carreira influenciado por Rod stewart, Otis Redding e Marvin Gaye, mas ele não se prendeu a um só estilo,fez Reggae, Pop , rock, blues, se apresentando sempre bem vestido e elegante.
Em 1983 ele formou com dois ex- integrantes do Duran Duran, O Power Station, que fez um relativo sucesso naquele ano.
