Biografia:
Rick Derringer é um músico Norte-Americano, nascido em 05/08/1947, na cidade de Ohio.
Quando tinha 17 anos, entrou para uma banda chamada 'The McCoys', que ficou famosa pelo single 'Hang On Sloopy', que foi a canção #1 da América, ultrapassando até 'Yesterday', dos Beatles, nas rádios. Depois a banda foi trocada de nome 3 vezes, até o posterior término.
Depois disso, Rick trabalhou como guitarrista base do bluesman albino, Johnny Winter, em seu projeto denominado 'Johnny Winter and.
