Biografia:
Rhett Miller nasceu em 06 de Setembro de 1970 na cidade de Austin, Texas.
Em 1990, Miller juntou-se à Murry Hammond e o baterista Benjamin Warrenfells para formar o “Sleepy Heroes”, uma banda de pop-alternativo, que lançou apenas um álbum, chamado “Under a Radio Sun”.
Em 2004, Rhett realizou uma turnê com Neil Finn e atraiu a atenção de vários. Ele gravou uma versão de “Homeward Bound” da banda Simon and Garfunkel.
Músicas do álbum The Instigator foram tocadas num episódio da série Joan of Arcadia.
