For Piano
D
Shakespeare had a few good lines
F#m
About a girl with pale blue eyes
E
But he Knew it'd be
D
Some kind of Tragedy
D
Well I've never had the privalege of
F#m
The Authors pen and the veiw from above
E
but i dont need to read ahead
D
I can tell you how it ends
D
She'll say "if pain is earthy, then we are healed tonight"
F#m
i will leave this life
E D
Into the ground to reach the sky
D
IF I COULD FIND SOMEONE TO TRUST
F#m
BEFORE THE END OF AUGUST
E
THEN I COULD JUST HIBERNATE
D
THE WINTER AWAY INSIDE OF HER
D
BUT I JUST CANT SEEM TO FIND
F#m
A CORRESPONDING MIND
E
SO I JUST LIE AWAKE
D
AND TRY TO SHAKE THE COLD
i always had a way with words
but you always had a "get away" verbs
Some other scene some place to be
Without me
It's hard to remember
But i still rememeber
A time when we said
We loved eachother
You were the first who said it
And you swore you wouldn't regret it
But look at you now
No where to be found
Where are you?
And i was quick to repeat it
Such a simple fool to believe it
But look at me now
Head on the ground
Where am I?
IF I COULD FIND SOMEONE TO TRUST
BEFORE THE END OF AUGUST
THEN I COULD JUST HIBERNATE
THE WINTER AWAY INSIDE OF HER
BUT I JUST CANT SEEM TO FIND
A CORRESPONDING MIND
SO I JUST LIE AWAKE
AND TRY TO SHAKE THE COLD
And so many simply say
"Let her go and be on your way"
And time will do what it does best
Clear our minds and give us rest
But i dont think that it will help
Eternity will have to be
Waited out
I guess then we'll see
If i could find someone to love....then winter might never come
