PJ BOND – Untitled (Robot Golf)
I listened this beautiful song live some years ago in Schellack (Siegen, Germany) and was glad to find it
online. I'm not exactly sure about the lyrics (so please correct me if there's something wrong).
Also Bm7b5 and Fmaj7 (explanations below) might be switched or slightly diffrerent chords at some points.
But it sounds good like this, so here we go:
Capo at 5
Intro: Am Am/E (4x)
Verse 1:
Am C Bm7b5 Fmaj7 E7
There were some days, felt like we had a past, some built a future and hoped that it will last
Am
But we gave up all we knew
Am Am/E (2x)
Am C Bm7b5 Fmaj7 E7
Spent some time on the sandy shores, it took me around to the town where you were born
Am
and we flashed for a world outside (?)
Chorus 1:
C Am
Are you lonely love? Are you lonely love?
Fmaj7 Bm7b5 E7 Am G Fmaj7 G
Do you feel these things as confusion? I hate these hours and i just wish them away oh no
Am Am/E (4x)
Verse 2:
Am C Bm7b5 Fmaj7 E7
As quickly as it came on, i felt it fall apart, i felt you pull away and i knew it all
Am
and the cold mist left me numb
Am Am/E (2x)
Am C Bm7b5 Fmaj7 E7
What happened to all the late night talks, agreements where we knew that we both saw
Am
the whole world as it was?
Chorus 2:
C C
Are you lonely love? Are you lonely love?
Fmaj7 Bm7b5 E7 Am G Fmaj7
Do you feel these things as confusion? I hate these hours and i just wish them away
C Am
Cause i'm lonely love, i'm so lonely love
Fmaj7 Bm7b5 E7 Am G Fmaj7 G
When i'm so far away, do you forget me? What have the days we spent, have the feelings faded to?
Bridge:
E7 Am Fmaj7 Bm7b5
I guess that i lost control, now i'm paying back for all my sins
E7 Am Fmaj7 G
You left me out in the cold, with the waiting wanting so much more cause i needed all
Chorus 3:
D Bm
Are you lonely love? Are you lonely love?
G A F#7 Bm A G
Do you feel these things as confusion? I hate these hours and i just wish them away
D Bm
Cause i'm lonely love, i'm so lonely love
G A F#7 Bm A G
When i'm so far away, do you forget me? What have the days we spent, have the feelings fade into?
A Bm
Oh no
In every Verse (when you switch from E7 to Am) and at the end of the Chorus (when you switch from
G to Am) there's a riff that goes like this:
E ----------------0--|
B ----------------1--|
G ----------------2--|
D --0h2--0--------2--|
A ----------3--2--0--|
E -------------------|
For a nice ending you can swith the riff up to end at Bm like this:
E ---------------2--|
B ---------------3--|
G ---------------4--|
D -2h4--2--------4--|
A ---------5--4--2--|
E ------------------|
