Peter Tosh (nasceu no dia 19 de outubro de 1944 –faleceu no dia 11 de setembro de 1987) foi um pioneiro músico de reggae/ska. Militante, bem-instruído e encrenqueiro, Tosh era o Malcolm X da personalidade estilo Martin Luther King representada por Bob Marley.
Batizado Winston Hubert McIntosh, ele cresceu em Kingston, Jamaica, na favela de Trenchtown. Embora seu pavio curto o metesse frequentemente em confusões, o jovem McIntosh começou a cantar e a tocar guitarra bem cedo
