Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE (Liverpool, 18 de Junho de 1942) é um cantor, músico e compositor britânico que, primeiramente, ficou conhecido como integrante do grupo de rock The Beatles. Junto de John Lennon, formou a dupla de compositores mais famosa da história do rock, compondo a maioria das canções e melodias do grupo, assinando-as simplesmente como "Lennon/McCartney".
