Pat Smear (nascido Georg Ruthenberg, 05 de agosto de 1959), é um guitarrista americano que tem sido membro de várias bandas conhecidas como The Germs e Nirvana. Ele atualmente toca no Foo Fighters. Ele também é conhecido por aparecer com regularidade no programa da MTV "House of Style" com a amiga e supermodelo Cindy Crawford.
