Nickelback é uma banda de rock formada em Alberta, Canadá em 1995 por Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake e Brandon Kroeger. O nome da banda vem do nickel (moeda) que Mike Kroeger frequentemente tinha de devolver no seu trabalho numa cafeteria. (here's your nickel, back!). Atualmente a banda conta com mais de 30 milhões de cópias vendidas em todo o mundo.
A banda vem do Canadá, de uma pequena cidade chamada Hanna, na província de Alberta no oeste canadense.
