Biografia:
O Meat Puppets foi fundado em 1980 pelos irmãos Curt (guitarra) e Cris Kirkwood (baixo), além de Derrick Bostrom (bateria), na cidade de Phoenix, Arizona.
Misturando elementos do punk rock e country, tocavam de modo agressivo, alto e rápido - também incluia elementos do blues e folk em sua música, de bandas como ZZ Top ou artistas como Neil Young. Com o passar do tempo, a banda amadurecia naturalmente, desenvolvendo e aperfeiçoando técnicas instrumentais e líricas e se movendo claramente ao hard rock tradicional.

we're here

these are, i think, the chords for we're here. the guitar part is
fairly simple, a lot of the color is provided by the bass. i didn;t
tab out the two guitar solos. they aren't really traditional solos,
more like ascending echoing, flanging, sound clouds.
the D* might actually be a D?? (XX0202) ??? the other chords are
simple open chords like you'd strum next to a campfire late at night,
a little drunk, wishing it would warm up a little bit.
any corrections are greatly welcomed.
