Divine Youth // Manic Street Preachers feat. Georgia Ruth
Great song to play and sing alone to, and incredibly simple!
Playing it on the acoustic it also sounds good to add an F#m
before G in the chorus, and to end the verses on Bm to emulate
the bass, but since that isn't strictly what the guitar does
in this song I haven't included it below.

D C Em G
...Verse 1...

Arms around each other, fate falling in the distance

Eyes with the look of yesterday

Weakest in the gang, likes to feel alone

No love in your tender bones

D A G
And I sing to myself, my civil wars within

The victories and failures, I daily lose and win

Money it just finds, a new way to disguise
G
Freedom you don't own anymore

Divine youth is lying in a battered and a bruised skin

I wear but don't recognise

And I sing to myself, my civil wars within

The kids are growing old in a digital haze

It's the devolution of the virtual age

The victories and failures, I daily lose and win
