C We met down at the floatin' dock F She snuck out, scared she might get caught Dm We were nervous FG But it was worth it
C There was no such thing as consequence F With her in my arms, it finally made sense Dm In that moonlight FG I saw her tanlines
C Every time my feet are dangling in the water FDm I can't help but think about her lying there C With her wet hair FG Didn't know what we were doing but we didn't care C That old wooden dock was warm on our backs F A t-shirt for a pillow and just like that DmCF She kissed me like she meant forever DmF We were too damn young to know any better
CF
C The fog rolled in, she said I better go F She took my t-shirt and wore it home Dm A memory, A souvenir FG She could keep
C So I stayed and watched the sun rise F Like it was waking up my life Dm To what love was FG I can still see us
C Every time my feet are dangling in the water FDm I can't help but think about her lying there C With her wet hair FG Didn't know what we were doing but we didn't care C That old wooden dock was warm on our backs F A t-shirt for a pillow and just like that DmCF She kissed me like she meant forever DmF We were too damn young to know any better
