Loreena Isabel Irene McKennitt é uma cantora canadense nascida em 17 de fevereiro de 1957. Compositora, pianista e harpista, além de ser abençoada por muitos outros dotes artísticos, Loreena é conhecida pelo seu estilo de música com fortes influências New Age, Celta eclético e com tendências do Médio Oriente.
Filha de Jack e Irene Mckennitt, Loreena nasceu em Morden, Manitoba, e possui ascendência irlandesa e escocesa. Loreena, assim como muitas crianças, demonstra na infância um grande interesse por música.
