A guitarrista e vocalista Lita Ford (Carmelita Rossanna Ford) foi uma das musas do hard rock dos anos 80. Seu nome começou a ter mais destaque em 1984, com o seu segundo álbum solo, Dancin’ On The Edge, que contava com o baterista Randy Castillo (Ozzy) e o baixista Hugh Mcdonald (Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper). “Gotta Let Go”, retirada deste trabalho, rendeu-lhe a indicação de Melhor Performance Feminina, no Grammy de 1985. Sua carreira alcançou o ápice com “Lita” (1988)
