Biografia:
O Korpiklaani é uma banda finlandesa, fundada pelo vocalista, guitarrista e compositor Jonne Järvelä. Ao longo da história da banda ele foi o único que permaneceu fixo na formação.
Jonne entrou oficialmente no mundo da música em 1993, com um projeto musical chamado Shamaani Duo, trabalhando com uma moça chamada Maaren Aikio.
O Shaamani Duo era um projeto de música folclórica finlandesa, totalmente acústico, cantado em idiomas Sámi, ou Saami, que são idiomas Shaman, do norte da Europa.
