Here's how I play Rope The Moon by John Michael Montgomery...
INTRO: G, C, G, C
CG I don't have a lot to show, for these years of hard work C If you look at what I own G Still she's always telling me to hold on to my dreams C Even when my hope is gone Am7D Some may say that dreamin's just for fools Am7D And there are times I thought that might be true
CHORUS: CG But she thinks I could rope the moon CG In her eyes there is nothin' I can't do EmD When I think it's out of reach GAmC She's the reason I still try CG She thinks I could rope the moon
When I look at the sky but can't see through the clouds she shows me the brightest star If I think of turning back, 'cause I'm having my doubts She tells me I've come so far Nothing in this world comes easily But I can't lose with her right next to me
