John Barry Prendergast, OBE (3 de Novembro de 1933 - 30 de janeiro de 2011) foi um maestro e compositor britânico, responsável por diversas trilhas sonoras do cinema e ganhador de cinco prêmios Óscar de melhor trilha sonora. Também é conhecido por ter composto várias trilhas dos filmes de James Bond, sendo o compositor de mais fez trilhas do agente, tendo assinado 11 delas. Sem dúvida foi ele quem criou todas as diretrizes para a música de James Bond, muito usadas pelos outros compositores que trabalharam na série.
