Suas influências musicais aparecem nas músicas como "Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror", "The History of The Fall" e "The Chelsea Hotel Oral Sex Song", ligado nas músicas de Leonard Cohen. Suas letras são complexas e cultas, geralmente combinando um ponto de vista niilista com uma mensagem de esperança e forte sagacidade.
