Jason René Castro (nascido em 25 de março de 1987) é um cantor e compositor americano e foi um dos finalistas da sétima temporada da série televisiva American Idol, em 2008. Após o Idol, ele assinou um contrato de gravação com a Atlantic Records e seu álbum de estréia auto-intitulado foi lançado em 13 de abril de 2010. Jason nasceu e foi criado no Texas, mas seus pais, René e Betsy, são colombianos. Ele foi a primeira pessoa de sua família a nascer nos EUA, seguidos por seus irmãos mais novos Michael e Jackie.
