------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bright lights and promises Janis Ian ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1975--------------- Tabbed by: Mike Lydiat E-mail: [email protected] Tuning:EADGBE The trickiest part of this arrangement is the fact that Janis Ian changes key several times. If you play along to the video linked here - I suggest you pause the playing and alter your capo - then the chord pattern (for the verses at least) is pretty straightforward. Start with capo on fret 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UR7ambpHOog
The other tricky bit is the chorus chords - enjoy. And there are also some short instrumental breaks around the Capo changes which I haven't dealt with.
