Nascido na Inglaterra e criado na Tailândia, Chulachak Chakrabongse, decidiu seguir a carreira de músico quando ainda era criança. Ao se formar, trocou seu nome para Hugo e se mudou para NY. Após alguns meses residindo no bairro de Hell’s Kitchen e tocando em casas de show alternativas, o músico assinou contrato com a Roc Nation, gravadora de Jay Z. O primeiro single do disco foi a faixa ‘99 Problems’ e aqui você assiste ao vídeo clip dirigido pelo premiado Colin Tilley.
