Hello Saferide é composto pela jornalista sueca Annika Norlin. Tendo escrito canções no passado, ela finalmente acabou por gravar um disco como brincadeira e colocá-lo online. Rapidamente várias gravadoras manifestaram interesse no trabalho da moça, e em setembro de 2005 ela lançou "Introducing... Hello Saferide", pelo selo Razzia.
