Biografia:
Gogol Bordello é uma banda de Gypsy Punk, formada no ano de 1999 em Nova Iorque. O grupo é muito conhecido por seus shows teatrais e as longas tours após cada álbum. O som da banda incorpora acordeão e violino (e em alguns albuns, saxofone) mixado com punk e Dub. O grupo é composto por músicos de várias etnias. Os músicos da banda são da Ucrânia, Russia, China, Estados Unidos, Israel e Etiópia.
"Gogol" vem do nome de Nikolai Gogol, um dos mais influentes escritores na literatura da Rússia e do Leste Europeu.
