Goo Goo Dolls é uma banda de rock alternativo dos Estados Unidos, formada em 1986, em Buffalo. Seus integrantes são Johnny Rzeznik (vocais e guitarras), Robby Takac (baixo e vocais), e Mike Malinin (substituto de George Tutuska na bateria).
Com uma mistura de pop rock alternativo, o trio alcançou seu sucesso nos anos 1990. Seu quinto álbum, A Boy Named Goo, foi o primeiro sucesso comercial da banda. Rzeznik, órfão que começou a morar sozinho com 15 anos, tocava em diversas banda locais, e fazia um curso para ser aspirante de encanador.
