Francis Vincent Zappa (21 de dezembro de 1940, Baltimore, Maryland – 4 de dezembro de 1993, Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, Califórnia) foi um músico de rock and roll americano. Compôs a maior parte de sua extensa obra, ainda não lançada inteiramente por sua família. Além de cantar, tocava diversos instrumentos, tendo como seu principal a guitarra.
Zappa ficou conhecido como um grande satirizador, através de suas composições e como criador do estilo que ficaria conhecido como freak rock
