Artist: Cry Before Dawn
Song: Gone forever
Album: Crimes of Conscience
Tabbed by: DJ
4th June 2013
NB: You could just use the barre chord shapes (as in the intro) throughout
the whole song. I mix them with some first inversion chords too, just to
add variety, with some open strings ringing, particularly the top E.
I think the barre Csus2 is actually the correct chord throughout,
but when choosing to use the first inversion shapes, I just think a Cadd9
sounds better when playing in that particular position.
In the coda I make some of the Dsus2 a D major, as I think that adding
the F# note back in helps that ascending progression on the top string.
Em = 022000 or Em(type2) = x79987
Dsus2 = xx0230 or Dsus2(type2)= x57755
Cadd9 = x32020 or Csus2 = x35533
D = xx0232
C = 8 10 10 9 8 8
