Biografia:
Clan of Xymox, também conhecido apenas como Xymox em várias partes de sua carreira, é uma banda de darkwave/gothic rock fundada em Nijmegen, Países Baixos, em 1983 por Ronny Moorings, Pieter Nooten, e Anke Wolbert. O EP Subsequent Pleasures foi auto-publicado com o nome Xymox, naquele tempo a banda tinha como membros Moorings na guitarra e vocais, sua namorada Anke Wolbert no baixo e vocais, e Pieter Nooten no teclado. Uma vez a banda encontrou Brendan Perry e Lisa Gerrard de Dead Can Dance
