Biografia:
Chris Bell (12 de janeiro de 1951 – 27 de dezembro de 1978) foi um cantor, compositor e guitarrista nascido em Memphis, Tennessee. Junto com Alex Chilton, ele liderou a banda de power pop Big Star, que gravou álbuns no início dos anos 70.
Chris Bell deixou o grupo após a gravação do primeiro álbum, #1 Record, mas contribuiu em algumas músicas e letras do segundo LP, Radio City.
Bell começou a investir em sua carreira logo que deixou a banda. Duas músicas de sucesso foram "You and Your Sister" e "I am the Cosmos".
