Sudirman
Sudirman Hj Arshad was born on 25 May 1955. Considered as the "Elvis of Malaysia" Sudirman is Sudirman, he achieved fame promoting Malaysia to the world as a singing ambassador, touring to places such as Japan and the USA.
Throughout the 80s, he produced and performed songs that have topped charts in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. In 1989, he was presented with the "Best Performer" award in the Asia Music Awards. He passed away on 22 February 1992.
