Simon Kelly and the Big Bamboo is a collaboration between singer/songwriter Simon Kelly and some of Perths most in demand and creative musicians. The resulting sound is a percussive blend of pychedelic pop, reggae, rootsy folk, bluesy ska and demented country that has drawn comparisons to Paul Simon and Gomez with subtle African and reggae rhythms.

Simon is a veteran of the Perth music scene, his first band Wasted Youth toured the country with skate punks Suicidal Tendencies
