Rainbirds
Ulrike Haage & Katharina Franck were in the midst of promoting & touring their In A Different Light album, when they were offered to take part in a performance at the theatre Volksbühne am Rosa Luxenburg Platz, in Berlin. It was the opening event of the 1993/94 season, & they asked Tim Lorenz, then only committed as a session drummer, to come along.
They rehearsed two days to work out a repertoire of rainbirds-songs, instrumentals by ulrike and a couple of pieces written exclusively for theatre plays and the group stein.
